Legal

Terms of Use

These terms govern your access to Rimoswap. Please read them before creating an account or using any product.

Effective 30 August 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing Rimoswap, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18, legally capable of entering a contract, and permitted to use digital-asset services in your location. Services may not be available in every country.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, protect your password and devices, and notify us promptly of unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. We may request identity, business, source-of-funds or transaction information before enabling or continuing a service.

3. Custody and supported assets

Rimoswap is a custodial platform. Balances shown in your account represent supported assets recorded for you through Rimoswap’s systems and custody arrangements. Asset, network, deposit, withdrawal, swap and product availability can change. Do not send an asset over an unsupported network or to an incompatible address.

4. Transactions and fees

You must review the recipient, network, asset, amount and transfer fee before confirming. Internal transfers may be treated differently from on-chain transfers. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible and can be delayed by network congestion, confirmation requirements, maintenance or third parties. Fees and limits are shown before confirmation where applicable and may change with network conditions.

5. Optional products

Exchange, Safelock, campaigns, games, rewards, payment tools and other products are available only when enabled and may have additional rules. A displayed rate, reward or return applies only to the specific offer and period shown. Nothing on Rimoswap is a promise of profit or financial advice.

6. Prohibited use

  • Illegal activity, fraud, theft, scams or market manipulation.
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions evasion.
  • Transactions involving prohibited goods, services or jurisdictions.
  • Attempting to bypass limits, verification, security or monitoring controls.
  • Interfering with Rimoswap, introducing malicious code, scraping protected data or accessing another account.
  • Misrepresenting your identity, business, transaction purpose or source of funds.

7. Suspension and closure

We may delay, reject, restrict, suspend or close activity where required for security, risk management, legal compliance, suspected misuse, an investigation, a court or regulator request, or protection of users. Where lawful and practical, we will explain available next steps.

8. Risks

Digital assets can lose value, become illiquid, experience technical failures, forks, depegging, cyberattacks and regulatory change. Networks and third-party providers may fail or delay. You are responsible for deciding whether a transaction or asset is suitable for you and should obtain independent advice where needed.

9. Availability and liability

We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular market price. To the extent permitted by law, Rimoswap is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, market losses, unsupported transfers, user error, public-network failure or events outside reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as products or legal requirements change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
